Our Irish offices led by Frank is home to a host of talented experts ranging from our early career professionals to established engineers and project managers working across the region to improve the local and strategic transport networks.

We have multiple avenues to work on the delivery of Road, Public transport and Active Travel projects for Central Government Authorities, Local Authorities across the island of Ireland.

You could be working in multi-disciplinary teams on major infrastructure projects including Metrolink, the A5 Western Transport Corridor, A29 Cookstown Bypass and the NM20 Cork to Limerick Road Project, or Active Travel and Safe School projects for the National Transport Authority and Local Authorities.

In this role your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of designs and specifications in accordance with Design Manual Roads Bridges (DMRB) TII Publications, National Cycle Manual and DMURS

  • Development of designs using Civil3D, GIS and AutoCAD

  • Management of graduate engineers and technicians to deliver work packages with scope to move up to managing smaller schemes

  • Client liaison as necessary to deliver the schemes/projects

  • Production of technical reports as required

  • A passion for improving the lives of millions by making it easy and predictable to travel, whatever mode of transport they choose.

  • A desire to engage with clients, colleagues and customers to find the optimum infrastructure solutions.

  • A genuine interest in the use of technology to identify and inform travel improvements and the infrastructure changes that will support that.
