WSP USA Coordinator, Commercial and Risk in Montreal, Quebec

The Opportunity:

WSP Canada is currently seeking to fill the position of Coordinator, Commercial & Risk , to support our growing Corporate Commercial & Risk team based in Montreal.

The candidate will report to the Commercial Manager and may be asked from time to time to support other members of the team, as needed. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day coordination, administration, and organization, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility as the team continues to grow.

What you can expect to do here:

  • Monitor and coordinate requests, communications, and calendars for shared e-mail inboxes.

  • Coordinate the review process for documents, opportunity approvals and ongoing projects.

  • Provide administrative support and coordination for key initiatives, process development, policies, and procedures.

  • Manage team information, documentation, data and archiving system, and team SharePoint site.

  • Participate in data analysis and standard setting.

  • Help prepare presentations and help with reporting.

  • Take minutes of meetings and distribute them accordingly.

  • Organize social events, as needed.

  • Support the team with other tasks as requested.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • Three (3) years of experience in a similar position and/or in coordination in a large matrix company.

  • Post-secondary degree in administration or a related discipline is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

  • Knowledge of SharePoint and ERP software is an asset.

  • Possess strong organizational skills.

  • Always perform precise, high-caliber work and demonstrate great attention to detail, in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines effectively.

  • Exercise judgment and discretion when processing confidential and sensitive data and situations.

  • Demonstrate autonomy and be resourceful.

  • Embody and endorse WSP's values ​​and guiding principles.

  • Good communication, both written and oral, is essential.

  • Bilingual (French/English).
