WSP is currently initiating a search for an Structural Engineer I for our Albany, NY office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Bridge and Structure Design, Rehabilitation / Repair / Retrofit of Bridges and other structures
Structural Analysis using commercial software programs
Evaluation of Existing Structures including Load Ratings
Assistance in the preparation of Quantity Estimates, Specifications, Review of Shop Drawings
Preparation of Reports and Participation in Field Work

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in accredited Civil Engineering Undergraduate or Graduate program
1-3 years of relevant experience
Prior internship experience, leadership experience, or relevant coursework
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills
Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products
The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.
Preferred Qualifications:
Focus on strucural analysis/design courses preferred
EIT/FE preferred
Familiarity with commercial drafting and analysis programs preferred
