WSP is currently initiating a search for a Proposal Manager that may sit out of any WSP Texas office.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates quality proposals through organizing pursuit teams, following RFP requirements, writing marketing portions, editing technical sections, and formatting page layout.

  • Organizes regular marketing meetings and pursuit meetings with key office members and regional team. This includes preparing agendas, reports, and meeting notes. Cooperate with leading the meetings with area manager.

  • Interfaces and cooperates with the regional marketing team for regional pursuits and supports as needed.

  • Develops qualifications packages, resumes, project descriptions, award submittals, and other custom marketing materials.

  • Works in InDesign laying out proposals using template guides.

  • Checks websites for RFPs/RFQs.

  • nsures database is up-to-date and accurate as well as generates reports for marketing/BD.

  • Facilitate a variety of marketing/business development meetings either in person or online.

  • Manage entire proposal process from start to finish.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant work-related marketing and/or proposal experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, technical writing, marketing, communications, business, or related field

  • Solid organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Engineering, Construction or Transportation Sectors

  • Extensive experience preparing state department of transportation proposals preferred.
