We’re re-imagining knowledge management at WSP UK, transforming the way we share and maintain knowledge across the company. Our vision is to create a high-tech environment that gives our bids and proposals community easy access to high quality content approved by subject matter experts.

The Knowledge Management Co-ordinator’s role is at the forefront of the implementation of our knowledge management (KM) strategy; gathering, curating and maintaining content for use by WSP UK staff. The Knowledge Management Co-ordinator is accountable to the Knowledge Manager.

Your new role, what’s involved?

  • Supporting the implementation of our KM strategy, driving knowledge transfer and championing best practice across the bid community and beyond

  • Proactively engaging with and supporting bid, technical and corporate contacts across the business in contributing to Bid Hub content

  • Helping to drive the cultural change around KM, developing ideas for measuring and rewarding good KM practices

  • Identifying opportunities for improving our processes

  • Proactively maintaining and curating Bid Hub content to ensure quality , accuracy and relevance

  • Supporting the analysis of client and user feedback and Bid Hub activity to identify trends and requirements

  • Managing our knowledge helpdesk, ensuring requests are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner

  • Experience of delivering great end user experiences

  • Experience or an interest in knowledge management

  • Ability to capture key information

  • Excellent written skills with a good command of the English language

  • Strong and effective verbal communication skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail and impeccable quality standards

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise

  • An interest in the application of modern technology (automation, AI)

  • Experience in the Microsoft 365 suite

  • Ability to drive and support a culture of continuous improvement, openness and knowledge sharing

  • Ability to work proactively, using your initiative and taking responsibility for your actions

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, effective relationships and rapport with stakeholders

  • Collaborative team player who demonstrates behaviours and attitudes in line with WSP core values
