WSP is currently initiating a search for a CEI Senior Project Engineer with relevant industry certifications and experience, for our Fort Lauderdale, Florida office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Active member of the Consultant Construction Engineering and Inspection (CCEI) contract team.
Direct a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection project/program
Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members; develop and/or review project specific policies, methods, practices, and procedures
Review programs for conformance with Department standards
Identify and pursue future opportunities
Assist in the preparation of pursuit proposals
Responsible for developing and maintaining an excellent professional relationship with those organizations to facilitate both the successful completion of current ongoing projects and the successful pursuit of follow-on assignments

B.S. Civil Engineering Degree
State of Florida Registered Professional Engineer (or if registered in another state, the ability to obtain registration in the State of Florida within six months)
12+ years of Engineering experience, two (2) years of which are in major road or bridge construction or five (5) of which are in major bridge construction
Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
Valid Drivers License
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Certifications (must have or achieve within 3 months):
CTQP Quality Control Manager Certification
FDOT Advanced MOT
