WSP USA Civil Engineer in Indianapolis, Indiana
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Civil Engineer for our Indianapolis office. Be involved in projects with our Transportation Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist and support design teams in the execution of projects
• Provide technical support in various stages of project, including preliminary design, final design, and contract documentation including cost estimates and specifications
• Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues during design
• Maintain positive team relationships
• Assist and coordinate with key staff across disciplines (i.e. drainage, structures) as required
Minimum Qualifications:
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or closely related field from accredited university
• Engineer Intern (EI) Certificate
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous engineering experience
• Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
