WSP USA Consultant, Procurement in Knoxville, Tennessee

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Fleet Support Specialist, with an emphasis on data management and analysis , for our Knoxville, TN or Kennesaw, GA office. Be involved in projects with our Fleet Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

The primary function of this role is to provide data and systems support to the Fleet Department. This job requires a high energy level with a focus towards data management, administration, reporting, organization and customer service with providing superior communication to both internal and external customers.

Your impact:

  • Responsible for handling daily data operations related to fleet assets.

  • Collects data from primary or secondary sources while maintaining fleet asset databases.

  • Cleans and validates data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and uniformity across multiple Fleet Asset Management platforms.

  • Applies statistical techniques to analyze data and generate useful business reports.

  • Uses data visualization tools and software to make strategic data more accessible.

  • Identifies patterns and trends in complex data sets.

  • Works alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs and inform data-driven decisions.

  • Maintains Fleet Sharepoint site for communication, routing and data management.

  • Creates documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.

  • Works with finance team, administration team and Fleet Management Companies (FMC) to manage fleet billing costs across internal finance platforms.

  • Works with Fleet Manager to determine total cost of ownership (TCO) of fleet assets for billing and budgetary tasks.

Required qualifications:

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (particularly Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access).

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Sharepoint and automation capabilities.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

  • Preferred knowledge of programming languages and database management using SQL.
