WSP USA Survey Party Chief in Lawrenceville, New Jersey
This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Survey Party Chief for our Lawrenceville office. Be involved in projects with our Survey/Geospatial Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
Candidate can expect to be a leading role in the field for work on a wide variety of projects including transportation, environmental, water/wastewater, commercial, residential, solid waste, and energy. From rural areas to urban areas.
Perform boundary & topographic surveys; engineering design surveys; GPS surveys
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
The candidate should have 3+ years with a survey degree or 8+ years with no degree, working in the survey profession and capable of handling topographic surveys using conventional and/or geodetic technology.
High School diploma or GED
General efficiency in Auto CAD/ MicroStation - capable of downloading and editing field data
General awareness of land survey principles, practices, process, methods and techniques
Experience with robotic total station is a plus.
Must successfully complete and pass WSP's Motor Vehicle screening
Proficiency with survey equipment
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently under supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives
Must possess a willingness to learn
Must be willing to work in all environments (rural, suburbs, city, etc.)
Ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening.
