WSP USA Lead Consultant, Project Controls in New York, New York

This Opportunity

WSP is seeking a Lead Consultant, Project Controls for our New York City office.

Your Impact

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for Developing, updating, and analyzing detailed execution schedules for big programs including buildings and infrastructure projects in Primavera P6.

  • Prepare monthly updates, create variance reports

  • Identify schedule activities that control the overall construction time or the critical path

  • Assessment of contractor monthly schedule updates and supporting analysis of time delay claim

  • Perform time impact analyses (TIA) and forensic delay analysis to determine the extent of the impacts of potential delays during construction

  • Identify and measure the impact any change has on a project(s) schedule

  • Communicate and provide recommendations to resolve schedule, scope changes or delays to the Project Team and Executive Management

  • Conducting baseline schedule reviews of all sub-contractors’ baseline schedules

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 7 -10 years’ experience in developing and managing building and infrastructure projects.

  • High level Experience using the critical path method technique with Primavera.

  • High level of experience in schedule preparation, schedule integration and variance analysis.

  • Experience with claim analysis and EVMS

  • Experience managing/ leading teams.

  • Experience working with large and challenging teams.

  • Proven experience in effectively reporting and communicating schedule variances and recommendations to wider project team.

  • Experience in preparing high level project reports and documentation.
