WSP USA Senior Consultant, Structural Engineering in New York, New York
This Opportunity
We are looking for a Structural Engineer (Tunnels) to join our growing Geotechnical and Tunneling Team in New York City .

Your Impact
Design and analyze reinforced concrete, steelwork, tunnel linings, subway station framing, and other underground structures
Lead structural tasks
Guide entry-level engineers
Perform field inspection of existing underground structures and new construction
Prepare drawings, studies and designs of underground projects
Prepare reports and contract documents
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Minimum B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
5 to 7 years of experience in structural or tunnel engineering practice
Strong background in structural analysis, familiar with structural engineering software such as SAP2000, STAAD and spColumn. Familiar with CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation or Revit
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred Qualifications
PE license
Master's degree, doctorate or equivalent experience in related field
Underground structural experience
Compensation and Benefits:

Expected Salary: $119,000 - $130,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
