# WeAre WSP

What you can expect to do here:

  • You will support the implementation of various environmental field programs.

  • You will conduct site inspections and monitor environmental activities.

  • You will be responsible for water management, erosion and sediment control, dust management, and noise monitoring.

  • You will collect environmental samples (soil and water).

  • You will participate in environmental emergency response for spills.

  • You will create daily dust management plans.

  • You will maintain daily dust logs and environmental inspection logs.

  • You’ll track key environmental issues and report spills.

  • You will record essential environmental field data.

  • Occasionally, you will assist with installing erosion and sediment control measures.

  • You’ll replace dust station batteries and move environmental monitoring equipment during fieldwork.

  • You’ll also be involved in spill response activities.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • Bachelors degree in environmental science or related fields preferred.

  • College diploma/certificate in environmental science acceptable with the right skillset.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize evolving requirements for multiple ongoing projects.

  • Experience in the nuclear or construction/remediation-based sector considered an asset.

  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and all programs under MS Office.

  • Familiar with ISO 9001.

  • Valid G drivers licence.

  • Must be eligible for CNL Reliability Stauts security clearance ( individual must have 3 full years of verifiable, concurrent and recent history in Canada, USA, UK, New Zealand and/or Australia ).
