WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Scheduler for our Sacramento, CA program office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead functional input to projects, including where relevant leading the input of other planners, to ensure delivery is consistent and effective, meeting scope, time, cost and quality requirements.
Contribute to the planning strategy for assigned projects, so that the approach taken in each case is effective and appropriate to the project needs and client requirements
Set up the base line plan for assigned projects and monitor progress against this plan, so that any problems are recognised promptly
Report on progress and earned value, to support financial forecasting and any necessary corrective action
Lead planning input to estimating and tendering activity on assigned projects, so that all relevant issues, actions and risks are understood and taken into account

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Five (5+) years experience in a scheduling role
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, Project Management, or related technical field
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong Rail or Transportation project experience
Experience in claims or disputes
Track record of successful project delivery
